Rim change description for two piece wheels. We cut out the center from the rim, if the rim is reuseable we'll re-polish the rim and reassemble the wheel to the same or different backspace. Because of the existing weld line cut the center is limited on how far back it can be moved. The lathe cut in the rim to remove the center occasionally goes deeper than expected making your existing rim shell not useable. When you want a new rim-shell we assemble the center from the wheel you send to us, aligning, welding and check the alignment again. The wheel gets color buffed so it'll look as good as new (in most cases). Starting price is listed below.
